Hotel Löwen Appenzell

Hotel Löwen is situated in the very heart of Appenzell, in the lively pedestrian zone in the main street. If you fancy a shopping spree, there are many interesting shops with local specialities and unique boutiques. In our hotel lobby on the ground floor, you will find our welcoming reception and seating area where you can relax, read a newspaper, meet your friends or colleagues, or enjoy an afternoon coffee break or aperitif. Our traditional breakfast room with a large self-service buffet is on the first floor, along with our seminar room. The hotel has 28 recently refurbished hotel rooms, some with colourful Appenzell hand-painted craftwork and all with woodwork from local Appenzeller carpenters. Welcome!
